during our recent visit to chiang mai, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations, surpassing even my previous stay a decade ago. the friendly staff consistently greeted us with smiles and the beautiful traditional architecture was a delight to experience with its tranquil environment. the food was delicious, especially the breakfast with freshly prepared items.

the pool was unexpectedly closed for renovations.

Staying at Tamarind Village felt like a charming retreat in the heart of Chiang Mai. The staff greeted us with smiles, and the breakfast selection was fantastic. The only downside was the pool being temporarily closed, but the peaceful atmosphere more than made up for it!

Excellent breakfast options available every morning.

Unfortunately, the pool service was lacking during our stay. We struggled to get additional drinks and snacks while lounging by the pool. Also, the dining options for breakfast were not clearly advertised, leaving us hungry until we discovered the vegetarian menu on the second day.

Rooms are surprisingly small!!! The noise from nearby roosters is unbearable, especially at night and early morning!!! There should be more pool beds available, given the number of guests around the pool area!!!

It was just a perfect match for an overnight stay in Chiang Mai with best value. The front desk arranged a fantastic trip to the elephant sanctuary for us. Definitely enjoy the breakfast with delicious pancakes.

We spent three nights in a cozy Lanna Double or Twin Room and loved lounging by the gorgeous swimming pool while sipping refreshing drinks. The hotel also had a fantastic massage service that melted our stress away and a lovely garden area for some peaceful moments. The room was a bit snug, and a small sitting area away from the pool would’ve been nice. 🌿
